PLACING YOUR ORDER

Quotes: 

Please request a quote for every order you wish to place, as pricing is subject to change without notice. Once a quote is approved, an order confirmation will be sent for your approval.  Any changes to the order should be made at this time.  When we have received your confirmed order confirmation, a 50% deposit is required before your order can be processed.  Changes to the order or cancellations will not be accepted once we have received a confirmed order confirmation and deposit.

Payment: 

All orders require a 50% deposit at the time or order, with the remainder to be paid prior to delivery.  We will notify you when your order is complete and available for delivery.  At this time any balance will be charged to your credit card on file or you will need to submit another form of payment.  Delivery cannot be scheduled without full payment. 

Lead Times: 

Specific lead time information will be provided at the time of your order. 

 

CS Basics Collection & Accessories

Standard production lead time is 4-6 weeks. 

 

Marie’s Corner Collection

Standard production lead time is 4-6 weeks.  COM production lead time is 8-10 weeks beginning on the day the material is received by the manufacturer.

 

Because each order is unique in nature, lead times may vary depending on the order specifications.  Therefore, orders may not be canceled nor deposits refunded due to delivery outside of standard lead time schedules.

 

PRODUCT WARRANTY

Material:

Our solid woods are kiln or air dried to correct moisture content before pieces are hand-crafted.

 

Generally, a piece of furniture takes about one year to acclimate to its new environment. During this time, small fissures accentuating the variations on the wood's surface may occur. Variations are not covered by warranty. These are viewed as unique pieces of furniture with natural characteristics which are due to the nature of the selected materials.

 

Variations of Material: 

Color, grain variations, and veining are natural characteristics of metal, steel, wood, leather and other materials and will vary from piece to piece.  These characteristics of your furniture may vary from the samples provided to you prior to your order or in the sample kit.  Orders may not be returned, canceled nor deposits refunded due to variations in characteristics. 

 

Precise colors and tones of any woods, or other natural materials cannot be guaranteed to be identical to the samples or products seen in our showroom.  This is because natural materials are used to manufacture our products.  Despite every effort to ensure a consistent reproduction of color, grain, etc., it is inherent that variations will exist. 

 

Dimensions:

All finished dimensions are subject to an allowance of ¾” (+ / -) in any given direction.  CS Basics, Inc. reserves the right to withdraw any item or to make changes to the specification or prices without notice in the interest of improved quality and design, and we do not accept liability arising as a result of such changes.

 

Warranty:

CS Basics, Inc. offers warranty for a period of one year on all pieces defective in material or craftsmanship. *The decision to repair or replace is at the discretion of the manufacturer.

 

Defective products must be reported within 1 day of delivery.


NO RETURNS WILL BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT WRITTEN PERMISSION FROM THE MANUFACTURER.

 

FREIGHT & CLAIMS

Delivery Specifications: 

Customers are responsible for knowing all the specifications necessary for delivery of the order.  For example, limitations of elevators, stairwells, corridors, doorways, location type, permits, or any other specifications that would hinder normal delivery.  CS Basics, Inc. is not responsible for furniture that does not fit or will give no refunds if this occurs.

CS Basics, Inc. uses one carrier for shipping of products.  Once your order is ready, you will be contacted that your order has been transferred to the shipping company who will then contact you for all shipping fees and delivery details. 

If your items require crating or palletizing, the shipping company can arrange such services. A receiving dock is advised to accept these deliveries. Any additional fees for such services will be paid directly to the shipping company. 

When possible we encourage blanket wrap shipments. If an inside delivery is required you must advise when placing your order.

All quotes and payment for shipping will be handled directly with the shipping company.

Claims: 

Claims, concealed or otherwise, for damage or shortage must be made directly with the carrier. CS Basics’ responsibility ceases when the shipment is taken by the carrier.
ALWAYS OPEN THE SHIPPED ORDER AT THE MOMENT OF RECEPTION IN THE PRESENCE OF THE CARRIER.
